Cyrus came to the Jackson County Animal Shelter in May of 2017. He was to weak to walk and was retrieved from a grassy ditch in Jackson Michigan. A woman saw him, wrapped him in a blanket and carried him to the shelter. He was in stages of full starvation, covered in mange, dehydrated, and knocking at deaths door. Cyrus was cared for by our shelter vet for many months and treated for all his aliments, he had the best care possible and even went home several times with our vet. After 7 months of care Cyrus received his forever home and as you can see, he has fully recovered and has the best of everything in life today.
